an expandable Cost of Downtime tool. This enabled their sales representatives
to demonstrate the cost saving when using the more robust Compaq
servers rather than cheaper and inferior alternatives. Communications
Group programmers and managers worked with risk assessment analysts
to produce an application that would measure a comprehensive selection
of business areas within a given industry, directly and indirectly
affected by server / computer downtime. The product was also streamlined
to work with a variety of different business sectors to provide
an effective and easy to use business analysis tool.
A senior analyst at Gartners commented that it was one of the best
cost of downtime tools he had seen to date.
